This past week, National Convenience Distributors traveled to Chicago, Illinois for the Convenience Distribution Association’s Business Exchange event. The annual conference, which took place September 12 through 15, offered CDA members unparalleled networking opportunities as well as up to 30 Top-to-Top meetings with critical trading partners.
The event allows team NCD to meet with vendor partners directly and line up future promotions, products and incentives.
“It was a wonderful experience to work closely with the NCD sales and purchasing teams,” said Marty Glick, NCD’s executive vice president of divisional sales. “Not only did we learn a lot, but we also had valuable discussions with our esteemed vendor partners, who were able to provide us with great feedback on NCD’s market leadership.”
In addition, CDBX presents a chance for NCD and other key players to further explore category trends and discover methods on how to sharpen their competitive edge.
“What a pleasure to once again attend CDBX. Kudos to the CDA staff for coordinating an excellent four days in Chicago. [And] special thanks to the vendors who sponsored the event,” said Dennis Williams, NCD’s executive vice president of procurement and seat holder on the CDA board of directors. “The opportunity to meet with and network with all the top vendor partners in the convenience distribution channel is invaluable.”
