On Thursday, April 25, the National Convenience Distributors family of vendors, retailers and teammates came together for the Spring 2024 Trade Show at Eastern States Exposition, held in West Springfield, Massachusetts. With 208 booths, 256 vendors, over 1,300 customers, and our “NCD Spotlight” displayed a fully merchandised c-store, premium cigars, an Island Coffee bar, and a corner for My Pie and Mighty Chicken. This year, the Spin to Win Wheel was warmly welcomed by guests who were able to stay involved at the show and had the chance to win incredible prizes.
In one hour, the line stretched around the corner towards the entrance of the venue, never dulling out. With countless prizes ranging from visa gift cards to fun games, your favorite gadgets, discounts off your next trade show orders, gift certificates to popular stores, and more. Customers were able to stay engaged while they browse our booths and food service spots. Both Green Basket Market of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and Crossroads Marketplace of Leicester, Massachusetts secured the two grand prizes!
Along with the Spin to Win wheel, the Mighty Chicken also made a guest appearance (along with some rival mascots). He made the event livelier by walking and dancing around, taking countless selfies with fans, and watching your face light up trying a sample of either chicken tenders, wings, or a chicken sandwich!
The show’s central hub featured NCD’s mobile ordering technology and proprietary foodservice offerings. Once you walked in, your focus shifted to the amazing smell coming from the improved Uncle Ed’s Bakery and Craft House booths, Rachael’s fresh sandwiches, a fully stocked Island Coffee and Beantown bar, starred with “hot and fresh” My Pie and Mighty Chicken favorites.
