The National Convenience Distributors team is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Samuel Villanueva! Sam will be taking the helm as the newest General Manager of our Rockville Division.
With over 27 years of leadership experience and a dedicated commitment to operational excellence, Samuel Villanueva has held pivotal roles at prominent companies such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola, Pfizer, and most recently, Compass Group, where he served as their Regional Director of Operations.
Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and management studies, along with a master’s in business administration. He attributes his passion for education and business to his parents, immigrants from the Dominican Republic. Sam, accompanied by his wife Bonny and their 5-year-old son Sammy, has recently made the move from New York City to Maryland.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sam is an avid sports fan who draws inspiration from the late Kobe Bryant. Reflecting on Bryant’s philosophy, Sam emphasizes, “It’s the one thing you can control. You are responsible for how people remember you – or don’t. So don’t take it lightly.”
